I apologize for being a little MIA lately, I went on an amazing vacation to Exuma, Bahamas (no I was not there for Fyre Fest) and Del Ray, FL last week and pretty much went on an electronics detox. I was either taking in the beautiful scenery or had my nose stuck in a book, sometimes I even did both!
I don't have any project pics this week but I wanted to post some photos from my trip that gave me inspiration (I'm also doing a little #humblebragging, but wouldn't you?).
I still cannot get over the beautiful beaches in Exuma. The water was like aqua.
My friend, Matty, brought his drone and took this awesome picture of our spot at Sandy Cay
Clear waters out to sandbars
Best vacation buddies ever!
Partners in crime.
Once we left the Bahamas, we headed over to Del Ray, Florida to see some of our best buddies get married! It was an insanely beautiful wedding and everything from the flowers, to the location and guests outfits got me all sorts of inspired for summer! I'm looking forward to our next project in the yard cleaning out our flower beds and building a fence for our vegetable garden.
First of all, how gorg does the bride, Clare, look?! Pat, you look good too. ;) I was also TOTALLY digging the ivory colored bridesmaid dresses she picked out. Her girls looked flawless, especially against the blue and green backdrop.
Floral arrangements in a pineapple? Yes please! These were at one of the pre-wedding events, the arrangements at the actual wedding were insane but I didn't snap a great one to show!
I used to Rent the Runway, nowadays I just rent from my friend Monica's closet. I loved the color of this dress and now realize it looks very similar to the Bahama blue I was loving so much in Exuma!
I loved my friend, Adrienne's, teal and sherbert combo.
Then we realized we made the teal and sherbert combo!
This week was a much needed break and got me recharged for a hectic May! I will be traveling to Europe so project posts may be a little light. I will be going to London and Amsterdam, any reccomendations on the best places to check out if time allows?
I will be for sure be jumping back into a home project starting in June, so don't forget to keep checking in! :) Thanks!
