Welcome to our first home! I recently realized that I never created a good before and after post of the entire house. We have so many wonderful memories in this home, most prominent is being pregnant for the first time and bringing home Thomas from the hospital and celebrating so many of this firsts at this house.
Happy Thursday! Today I want to take you through the Ivy House for sale photos and pass along some of the tips I learned when we sold our first home.
When we put this home on the market, it was a really quick decision. I LOVED our little bungalow, but Chris was constantly looking for what was next since we were already maxed out on space with a new baby.
Today I am going to show you the basement renovation at our first home, the Ivy House. Like I mentioned in one of my first Ivy House posts, the finished basement was one of the biggest selling features for me. All of the other homes we visited had unfinished basements or super low ceilings. This was definitely something we could work with!
I still love to see the transformation that we made in the yard at the Ivy House. When we first bought the house, it felt very dark and heavy. The ivy against the dark brick and the unruly plants around the yard surrounding the old wood fence did not give the most welcoming first impression.
