1 | Find the Perfect Vessel to Hold the Matches

My favorite place to find small containers to hold matches is at estate sales and thrifting!

You can use containers made for toothpicks or even a beautiful lidded bowl, this is where you can be creative with your matches display. Clearly, I have a thing for Wedgwood Jasperware containers!

Not only can you find one-of-a-kind vessels when secondhand shopping, you can find many of them for less than $5!

2 | Add the Match Strike Sticker

Choose the length of your matches based on the size of your match holder. Two inches is the standard match length, but I like to see the match heads popping out of the container, so I use the 4″ length.
