Wheat Ridge, CO Home

I first used this color when we moved into our third home in Wheat Ridge, CO. We planned to renovate the property while living in it with the intention of selling it after two years.

To create a cohesive feel, I used Eider White and the darker gray colors from the Sherwin William’s paint strip throughout the rooms in our home.

In the basement, we built a guest suite for our au pair and used Eider White on the walls.

With only one window in the bedroom, this off-white looked great! You can see that it pairs well with bolder colors in the comforter and yellow accents on the IKEA dresser.

The garden level of this home had a large rock fireplace that made the room feel dark and dated. To brighten up the space, I painted the stone fireplace Eider White to match the upper walls in the room.

The beadboard on the lower section of the walls is Mindful Gray and the fireplace hearth is Dorian Gray by Sherwin Williams.

While the kid’s bedrooms were painted in Repose Gray, a slightly darker shade of gray, I chose Eider White for the master bedroom.

Investment Properties

Because Eider White is so versatile and works great as a neutral, I used it often at our investment properties. The beige undertones added warmth to each room and gave it some life.

We used Eider White in all of the main living areas at our rental properties as well. Renters love this color because it is neutral and has just enough warmth so an empty rental doesn’t feel cold and empty.
